About

About the Journal

The Journal of Nanomycology is an open access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to fungal nanotechnology and nano-enabled mycology, including innovations related to mushrooms and truffles.

Mission

We aim to publish rigorous and reproducible research that advances sustainable nanotechnology at the fungal interface, with real-world impact across agriculture, pharmaceutical sciences, and environmental technology.

The journal supports responsible innovation aligned with international publication ethics and best practices.

Scope

Fungi → Nano Fungal Nano-Biosynthesis

  • Biosynthesis and bioprocessing using yeasts, molds, and macrofungi.
  • Mechanisms: reduction/capping agents, extracellular vs intracellular routes.
  • Scale-up, quality control, and standard reporting.

Nano → Fungi Nano-Enabled Mycology

  • Nanomaterials applied to fungal systems for detection, control, and sensing.
  • Agriculture: plant protection and postharvest technologies.
  • Environment: remediation, water treatment, antifungal coatings.
